100 Aspidistra plants make up this wall with a contemporary look. Inside Urban Green found it from a shoe company. Living walls seem to be constantly increasing in popularity as individuals and businesses alike strive to become more eco-friendly. This wall is a massive 18 meters high.. that’s about 54 feet.. and is made up of regular shelving with 100 plants throughout. I’d hate to be the one to have to water that =)

My opinion? If you’re going for a vertical garden, why have the plants spaced so far apart? If you have them leaning out on angles at least, they’ll get more light and you could fit more plants in there… and by doing that it’s going to clean up more CO2.

That’s not to criticize the company though… they’re doing well. That’s a step in the right direction and they’re making a solid effort to clean the air.
