Living wall options
I hope that you enjoy the various takes on vertical gardens that you find here. I’m constantly looking for different styles of designs and compare their looks and function to try to get the best solutions. The great thing about living walls is that everyone’s take on them is different and sometimes unique situations for building requirements lead to new designs.

My wall planter is just one of those takes on how to build a vertical garden. In my opinion, it’s benefits are that it’s quick and easy to install, but a drawback is that it would be expensive on a very large wall and it could get heavy. So it really depends what you want to use it for. I’ve got mine up in my condo now.. and I’m loving it. It worked out as a great solution for my situation.. but other installs need different solutions.
Through the blog and its ideas.. I’m hoping to eventually get a few more design ideas out there. There’s a pretty cool service called ponoko out there that helps people with design ideas make their sketches come into real life. I might use that solution on a future design. I’d love to hear from you if you have any ideas or suggestions on making a living wall.
