Vertical gardens for business and fun

Creative vertical gardens
Bit of a lame title, but the these wall gardens make up for the awful title in spades. The first picture is of vertical garden pleasure, and the pictures after is where we get down to business. Anyways.. look at what you can do in your vertical garden by using different types of plants.
That was G-Sky’s creation and their creativity doesn’t stop there. You can see the applications of vertical gardens for business in a couple more pictures below.
Now the picture below isn’t of a logo, but it does show how small businesses could use a living wall / vertical garden to set them apart from their competition.

It looks like you have to contact G-Sky directly if you want to know prices, but by the looks of things, they are geared more towards larger commercial installations.
One final vertical garden I wanted to show you was one that PNC had built. It’s the largest vertical garden installation out there in North America.. and it’s massive. The garden ways 24 tons when saturated and it’s 2,380 sq ft. Each of the 602 green wall panels is estimated to offset the carbon footprint of one person. Preliminary studies showed the wall is 25% cooler behind vertical garden than ambient temperatures. Form and function, eh?

Wow that is really amazing, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a living wall – great concept especially when it is used for energy saving as well as aesthetics.

I’m not so sure about using Vertical Gardens as an advertising tool. I guess it had to come.
