Living Walls around Toronto, Canada
Nov 3rd
There’s a couple companies worth mentioning that make living walls. One company in Toronto makes living wall fences. They’re at http://www.thelivingwall.net/. They can build a living wall that acts as a sound barrier as well as making our roads look good. I’d personally much rather have this style wall than the concrete barriers most of our roads have. It not only filters pollutants, but also helps stabilize the soil by the roads and would help absorb storm water. It’s an all-round better solution than standard concrete dividers.

ELT Living Walls is based outside of Toronto, Canada, but still pretty close. It’s in Brantford, Ontario and they build living wall panels you can hang inside or out. It works by storing soil in slots on 45 degree angles. If you install this inside, the panel needs a moisture barrier according to ELT living walls. It’s a good look, but may hurt your wallet. What do you think?
